Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
This policy explains how SB APPS handles information for SoldNote and this support website. Contact us at SBAPPSLLC@outlook.com with privacy questions or requests.
Your local records and optional profile
SoldNote stores sales, refunds, manually entered costs and fees, markets or events, catalog details, catalog and sale photos, and saved seller payment links on your device. SB APPS does not operate a cloud database for these records, and the app does not automatically upload your sales journal or photos to SB APPS. SoldNote does not require its own online account or login, and journals do not synchronize between devices.
You can optionally save a preferred name, business name and profile photo. These details remain in your local journal. Profiles created in earlier versions may also retain an email address, phone number, website or description of what you sell. Those existing fields remain local even when they are no longer shown in the profile editor. Profile details are not automatically attached to support requests.
Photos you choose are used for the local journal or profile. You control access through your device permissions. Device or operating-system backups may include app data depending on your settings; those services are governed by their own policies.
Optional device protection
You can use SoldNote without app protection, enable phone authentication such as Face ID or Touch ID, set a separate SoldNote password, or enable both methods. Phone authentication is handled by the operating system. SoldNote does not receive your biometric template or device passcode.
A SoldNote password is entered in a secure app prompt. The app stores a salted password verifier and failed-attempt information in device-only secure storage, rather than saving the password as readable text in the journal. Protection settings and the verifier are not included in SoldNote journal backup or export files.
If you forget the SoldNote password, phone authentication can open the journal so you can change or remove that password in Profile. The old password cannot be displayed or emailed. Keep phone authentication configured if you want to use this recovery route. This is a local app-access lock; it does not password-protect files you export or share.
Exports, backups and restore copies
When you choose to export, back up or share information, the app creates a file and opens your device's sharing tools. You choose the recipient or destination. That service may receive the file under its own privacy terms. Keep backup and export files secure, especially if you enter information about other people.
A full SoldNote backup includes saved journal records, catalogs, photos and the saved profile, including retained profile contact fields. It excludes device protection settings and password-verification information. Restoring a backup replaces the journal rather than merging journals. The app keeps one on-device pre-restore recovery copy, which can contain the previous records and profile, until a later restore replaces it.
Pro purchases and restoration
SoldNote offers Pro subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Apple processes purchases and payment details. RevenueCat processes purchase history, transaction and subscription status, an app user identifier and related technical information needed to validate purchases, restore access, prevent fraud and provide subscription reporting. This integration is enabled in the production app; it is not limited to a future release.
SoldNote does not send your sales journal, catalog photos or local profile to RevenueCat for purchase validation. SoldNote uses an anonymous app user identifier rather than a SoldNote email login. SB APPS can view purchase and entitlement information through RevenueCat to operate Pro. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
Support messages
If you contact support, SB APPS receives your email address, your message, any attachments you choose to send, and the app or device details included in your draft. We use these to respond, investigate issues and maintain support records. Outlook and the email services you use process messages under their own policies. Your journal, profile details and photos are not automatically attached.
External payment links
If you open a seller-owned Stripe payment link, your browser or payment application connects to Stripe and the seller. They may receive payment information and technical request information under their own policies. SoldNote does not receive your payment-card details or automatically verify the payment, and opening or sharing a link does not automatically create a journal sale. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
This website
This support website provides information and links about SoldNote. The hosting provider may process IP addresses, request information and security logs to deliver and protect the site. External links and email links connect you to services with their own policies.
Your choices, deletion and requests
You can edit records, void sale entries, archive catalog products, delete catalog entries and catalogs, or permanently delete a market and its associated sales and saved drafts. Deleting a catalog keeps its products as unfiled items. Deleting an item keeps previously recorded sale details and photos needed for that history. Archiving or voiding is not the same as deleting data.
Deleting current records does not remove copies in previously saved backups, exports, the on-device restore recovery copy or files you shared. A later restore can bring backed-up records back. Save a backup first if you want to retain records before permanent deletion.
You can clear visible profile details and remove the profile photo, revoke photo permissions in device settings, export records, and remove local journal data by deleting the app. Deleting the app can remove the journal; it does not remove backups or exports saved elsewhere and does not cancel a subscription. Operating-system secure storage can retain device-protection settings separately from the journal. Use Profile to change or remove app protection while you have access.
We keep support information while needed to respond, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations. Purchase providers apply their own retention requirements. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information SB APPS holds about you; we may need to verify the request, and applicable legal requirements may limit deletion. We cannot access or remotely delete your device's local journal.
Advertising, children and changes
SoldNote does not include advertising or use your journal for advertising. The app is intended for sellers and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
